Your iPhone or iPod Touch is not being recognized by iTunes 9.1? Here is a quick fix

All you have to do is download BlackBreeze, and click on “Fix my ra1n!”. In case the tool won’t find the blackra1n.exe file, you will need to browse for it manually. That is it.  Enjoy.

If You Are Using Blackra1n For A Tethered Jailbreak, DO NOT Update Your iTunes To 9.1

if you are using blackra1n for a tethered jailbreak, DO NOT UPDATE! Everybody else can update without a problem.

Apple just released iTunes 9.1, and we told you that everything seems to be working just fine BUT it kills blackra1n on Windows ( Mac users: even though, the tool seems to have no problems on Mac, no need to hurry with this update ). So, basically, if you are using blackra1n for a tethered jailbreak, DO NOT UPDATE! Everybody else can update without a problem.

We got a couple of mails telling us that after the update, the jailbroken iDevices were not recognized by the new version of iTunes. If this happens to you, re-install iTunes.

iH8sn0w is working on a fix that will solve blackra1n’s issues with the new version of iTunes, allowing everybody to update. It will be available in a few hours/tomorrow. We will keep you updated. Stay tuned…

With the new update of iTunes, Apple added a few new menu items to the docked icon, tweaked and removed others.

With the new update of iTunes, Apple added a few new menu items to the docked icon, tweaked and removed others. As you can see in the pic above ( iTunes 9.1 in the left ) , they added a “Start Genius” function (which I’m not really sure what it does), a “Find in iTunes Store” function which looks for the song/artist you are listening to in the app store, and now the “Repeat” function has its own menu. They also removed the “Mute” function in iTunes 9.1. Not a big deal, just a quick heads up…
