HOW TO FIX: iTunes 9.1 Won’t Recognize Your iPhone

Your iPhone or iPod Touch is not being recognized by iTunes 9.1? Here is a quick fix

Yesterday we told you that some users reported that after they updated their iTunes to 9.1, their iDevices were no longer  recognized by the new version. We also said, that if this happens to you, you should reinstall iTunes, and everything will be fixed. But instead of reinstalling iTunes, you can restart your iDevice and everything should work like a charm. Alternatively you can restart your computer as well… Enjoy iTunes 9.1

New Official iPhone Syncing Support To Come With OS 3.2?

Apple is asking developers to temporary remove the USB syncing capabilities from their apps.

USB syncing was a problem for developers from the beginning because the current iPhone SDK does not contain official API for USB syncing apps. But rules are made to be broken, and developers found a way around this issue. They used iPhone’s DCIM folder to drop their files and private APIs to allow desktop apps to access iPhone’s contents.

Intel Patch To Solve iPhone Sync On PCs Equipped With Windows 7 And P55 Chipset

A few days ago we reported a sync problem between the iPhone and PCs with P55 chipset running windows 7. Intel fixed this problem by releasing a patch.

A few days ago we had reported a problem with iTunes sync between the iPhone and PCs equipped with Windows 7 of the Intel P55 chipset. Intel released a patch that solves this problem within seconds. You can download the patch here and then start the installation. Restart your computer and you will see all your sync problems are solved.

NOTE: If your computer doesen’t feature the specs above, do not install the patch. Otherwise, happy syncing….
