Apple Approved Skyfire: Browser That Can Play Flash Video On iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad

SkyFire will convert Flash video to HTML5 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users.

Two months ago, we told you that SkyFire – browser that can play flash video – was submitted to the app store and we also took a first look at the browser. Probably most of you forgot all about it, but today we have good news: SkyFire was approved and it will be available for download at 9 a.m. Eastern on Thursday for $2.99

SkyFire will convert Flash video to HTML5 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users.

Opera Mini For iPhone Accepted In The App Store. Available Within 24 Hours…

After a couple of months, Apple accepted the app and it will be available within 24 hours…

We talked about Opera Mini ever since it was a rumor. In fact, i think we were the first ones to write about it. We told you that is 6x faster than MobileSafari, we told you when the app was submitted to the app store, and we even showed you a video battle between the two browser. After a couple of months, Apple accepted the app and it will be available within 24 hours…

TechCrunch reports that earlier today, Opera disclosed that it now counts over 100 million users, about half of which are using its mobile browser products. The company also offers Opera Mini 5 beta for Android phones.

Most people want to be able to browse the web from their phone the same way they can do on their laptop or home computer. Luckily some people developed add-ons for mobile browsers to enhance the browsing experience.

Even though Apple won’t allow competitive browsers on the iPhone, we still get alternatives. Just the other day we talked about iDroid Mini Browser, and a couple of weeks ago about Alternate Web Browser. Both browsers are an excellent alternative to MobileSafari and you can find both in the appstore.
