New day, new tweak in Cydia: HDR Camera Enabler. Yesterday we showed you how to manually enable the HDR feature manually, and today you can just install this tweak and you are golden. It still requires iOS 4.1 , and since there’s no official jailbreak available, it’s a little bit odd that this tweak was released so soon. Anyway, if you have an iPhone 3Gs with older bootrom, you can jailbreak iOS 4.1 using ( !unofficial ) PwnageTool ( here and here ).

After installation, you need to enable the tweak via Winterboard. You can download HDR Camera Enabler for free from Cydia via Modmyi repo…

A few days ago, we told you that HDR photos are coming to the iPhone 3G and 3Gs via a Cydia Package. Apparently you can enable the feature manually, editing a .plist file. I say apparently, because :

1. It didn’t work for me

2. You need to have a jailbroken iPhone 3G/3Gs running iOS 4.1 ( unofficial methods )

HDR Photos Coming To iPhone 3G And 3Gs Running iOS 4.1

cdevwill, who you probably know because of the PDF Loading Warner patch, just announced that he made a tweak that will bring HDR photos to iPhone 3G and 3Gs running iOS 4.1.

Just a quick heads-up: cdevwill, who you probably know because of the PDF Loading Warner patch, just announced that he made a tweak that will bring HDR photos to iPhone 3G and 3Gs running iOS 4.1. People have a hard time figuring out HDR photos on the iPhone 4, so I wonder how will previous gen iPhone users will handle this tweak.

At the moment, we don’t have any addition info on the tweak, but we will keep you update. Stay tuned…
