Apple Releases iOS 9.2.1

iOS 9.2.1 is now available

Apple released today iOS 9.2.1 to the public, a release that is available as an over-the-air update to all iOS 9 users.

iOS 9.2.1 is a minor incremental update, focusing on performance improvements and bug fixes including a fix for a significant Mobile Device Management issue that affected enterprise customers.

This update contains security updates and bug fixes including a fix for an issue that could prevent the completion of app installation when using an MDM server.

Look up at the top left corner of your iPhone… You see those little dots? As you should be aware by now, these dots are Apple’s way of representing something as complicated as a reception meter in a way a layman should understand. While this representation works for most users, it’s terribly inaccurate, and frankly doesn’t present much information.

What you may not be aware of however is that starting with iOS 4.1 Apple included a hidden app called “test app” that, when opened, enables a cool db meter where your traditional signal dots would be.

iTunes 12.3 Released With iOS 9 Support and Designed for OS X El Capitan

Following the release of iOS 9, Apple has also updated iTunes which adds support for the new mobile operating system and it’s designed for OS X 10.11 El Capitan which is schedule to be released on September 30.
