i0n1c Releases Cyberelevat0r iOS 7.1.1 Jailbreak Video

First i0n1c and winocm unveiled that they both have a working iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak. Then, two researches of the Georgia Tech Information Security Center ( GTISC ) released a video of their own iOS 7.1.1 jaibreak. So, we have three privately owned iOS 7.1.1 jailbreaks.

Then, two researches of the Georgia Tech Information Security Center ( GTISC ) released a video of their own iOS 7.1.1 jaibreak. So, we have three privately owned iOS 7.1.1 jailbreaks. i0n1c didn’t release a video of his jailbreak until today. He only released a photo of an iPhone 5c running iOS 7.1.1 with Cydia loaded on it, and details on his jailbreak. But, to twist the knife even deeper, today he released a video showing off his jailbroken iPhone 5c running iOS 7.1.1. There is no word on when an update jailbreak will be released, if any… Don’t believe the hype, and try your luck with random sources and most definitely do not pay for a jailbreak. There’s A New Privately Owned iOS 7.1.1 Jailbreak [video]

First i0n1c and winocm unveiled that they both have a working iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak. So guess what? There’s now a 3rd private iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak coming from two researches of the Georgia Tech Information Security Center ( GTISC ). Yeongjin Jang and Tielei Wang disclosed that they’ve managed to jailbreak iOS 7.1.1 late last month and i0n1c appears to confirm their jailbreak legit.

“The work includes followings. 1. Bypassing sandbox, 2. Getting root permission, and 3. bypassing codesign” said Jang.

There is no word on when an update jailbreak will be released, if any… Don’t believe the hype, and try your luck with random sources and most definitely do not pay for a jailbreak. IF an official iOS 7.1+ jailbreak will be released, we will let you know. Stay tuned.

With iOS 7.1, Apple has patched the exploits used by evasion7 and currently there is no word on a public release for an iOS 7.1+ jailbreak. However, that doesn’t mean that iOS 7.1+ can’t be jailbroken. Just today, i0n1c posted a photo of an iPhone 5c running iOS 7.1.1 with Cydia loaded on it and if you jump over the break, you can check out a video from winocm showing off an untethered jailbreak with Cyda loaded on an iPhone 4 running iOS 7.1.1.
