TinyUmbrella Updated To v5.00.01 With Support For iOS5b2

Just a quick heads-up: TinyUmbrella was updated to v5.00.01.

Just a quick heads-up: TinyUmbrella was updated to v5.00.01. The new version brings support for iOS5b2, a resized window for ‘those of you with microscopic screens’ and it fixes  a couple nasty bugs regarding the log not being descriptive about what version you are not eligible for as well as getting a ‘in process’ message after changing from Cydia to Apple.

Just a quick heads-up: ih8sn0w updated sn0wbreeze to v2.8b3 with support for iOS5b2. The new update comes with the following changelog:

  • Now jailbreaks iOS 5 (beta 2)
  • Intended for developers ONLY!
  • Does not Hacktivate or add afc2 in this release to prevent piracy.
  • iPhone 3GS old bootrom users have an untethered boot.
  • Now only 15MB 🙂

Apple Drops iOS 5 Beta 2. Enables Wireless Syncing

In iOS 5.0 beta 2, wireless syncing is now available for the Mac. You will see an option to enable wireless syncing when you connect your device to iTunes with the USB cable

Just a quick heads-up: Apple dropped iOS 5 beta 2 for developers. In iOS 5.0 beta 2, wireless syncing is now available for the Mac. It requires iTunes 10.5 beta 2 and OS X 10.6.8 or Lion. You will see an option to enable wireless syncing when you connect your device to iTunes with the USB cable. It is recommended you perform your initial sync with a cable after restoring your device.
