It’s A Trap: Jailbreakers And Unlockers Ignore AT&T’s Texts To Upgrade Your Firmware

Just a quick heads-up: if you are an AT&T customer ( and an iPhone user of course ), you probably received text messages to remind you about an ‘important’ software upgrade for your iPhone. It’s a trap!

Just a quick heads-up: if you are an AT&T customer ( and an iPhone user of course ), you probably received text messages along the lines of the one in the above screenshot. It’s a trap! Jailbreakers and especially unlockers DO NOT update your firmware. You will loose the ability to jailbreak ( at least you won’t be able to get an untethered jailbreak right now ) and you will definitely loose the ability to unlock – probably forever.

  • Download AirMediaPlayer for Windows v1.0.1 ( for some reason, the dev deleted his blog and took down AirMediaPlayer. We will let you know when it will be available for download again )
