iPhone 3GS running IOS 4.3b1 with multitasking gestures and lock/mute switch from iPad 4.3b1
One of the new features uncovered in iOS 4.3 beta was multitouch gestures for multitasking, which can be very useful on the iPad while, on an iPhone, sounded like a bit of a handful. Now we have some video evidence, with Antoni Nygaard managing to get them working on his iPhone, along with the lock/mute switch toggle as well. Given these multitouch gestures aren’t coming to the iPad (yet) we’re guessing it won’t be hitting the iPhone either, but we can always hope.

Because of this security flaw in iOS 4.1 , Apple might drop their next iOS update sooner. iOS 4.2 is scheduled to drop next month, and finally unify all iOS devices, but we might see iOS 4.1.1 in the next couple of days.
Here’s an interesting piece of news about a security flaw in iOS 4.1: When your iPhone is locked with a passcode, tap Emergency Call, then enter a non-emergency number such as ###. Next tap the call button and immediately hit the lock button. It will open up the Phone.app where you can see all your contacts, call any number, etc.
with all this iOS 4.1 jailbreaking tools, everybody should be happy right? Well, that’s what we thought too, but it seems that a lot of you can’t activate FaceTime and get no cellular data connection. Let’s fix it….

Now we got all the tools we need to jailbreak iOS 4.1. We have greenpois0n ( Mac, Windows and Linux ) , Limera1n ( Mac and Windows ) and PwnageTool ( Mac ). We also have redsn0w [Mac and Windows] for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G running iOS 4.1. So everybody should be happy right? Even though initially the feature was pushed just for the iPhone 4, it was also planed for the iPhone 3Gs , and Apple might enable it natively for this device in future iOS updates….
