Apple has rolled out today a more robust two-step verification for iCloud and iTunes accounts. How exactly does it work? You login to iCloud.com with your ID and password, and if that’s successful a code will be sent to your mobile device. The second step is to enter that code into the website, proving that your password and phone are in the hands of the owner. Once the second step is completed successfully, you will be allowed in to the site.

Apple Confirms Heartbleed Vulnerability Doesn’t Effect iOS, OS X, or ‘Key Web Services’

Apple released a statement Thursday saying that iOS, OS X, and “key web services” are not affected by Heartbleed – an exploit targeting a vulnerability in a service within OpenSSL known as Heartbeat.

Apple has updated Apple TV to 6.0 to include some of the features found in iOS 7 and iTunes 11.1

Apple has updated Apple TV to 6.0 to include some of the features found in iOS 7 and iTunes 11.1, including iTunes Radio, iCloud photo streams, podcasts, and AirPlay from iCloud, which allows users to play content on any other Apple TV through streaming. Updating the Apple TV is done OTA ( over-the-air ) by going to Settings> General> Software Update
