It was unexpected, but Apple announced that they will livestream today’s event, but there’s a catch: you can only view it on Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod. The reason: Apple is using a technology called HTTP Live Streaming introduced with Snow Leopard, QuickTime X and iOS 3.0.
