Apple Approved Skyfire: Browser That Can Play Flash Video On iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad

SkyFire will convert Flash video to HTML5 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users.

Two months ago, we told you that SkyFire – browser that can play flash video – was submitted to the app store and we also took a first look at the browser. Probably most of you forgot all about it, but today we have good news: SkyFire was approved and it will be available for download at 9 a.m. Eastern on Thursday for $2.99

SkyFire will convert Flash video to HTML5 for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users.

Skyfire 2.0 for iPhone follows on the heels of Skyfire’s recent launch on Android, which has now become one of the most popular third-party browsers on Google’s mobile platform, with nearly a million downloads in its first three months.
