Two researchers at TippingPoint’s Digital Vaccine Group have succeeded in bringing together approximately 8000 iPhone and Android users, into a bonnet experiment to demonstrate the distribution of malware.

Derek Brown and Daniel Tijerina discussed their experiment at the RSA Conference held in San Francisco last week: the main objective was to demonstrate how a weather application for smart phones behaves in a similar manner to traditional malware attacks, with the ability to steal information and allowing remote control of the devices.

Google Goggles: Visual Search Only For Android Phones.Apple You Better Step Up Your Game

Google Goggles is a visual search app for Android phones. Instead of using words, take a picture of an object with your camera phone: we attempt to recognize the object, and return relevant search results

A couple of months back, Google released a free turn-by-turn navigation based on Google Maps, only for the Android phones and it kinda made iPhone users jealous because they waited so long for something like that, and when it came it was ridiculously priced. Now they release Goggles and , once again , they drive iPhone users insane.
