Google Mobile App For iPhone, Now With Google Goggles [video]

Goggles is enabled only for English-speaking users, and since it requires an auto-focusing camera it is supported only on iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 running iOS 4 or above.

One year ago we told you about Google Goggles, visual search for Android phones ( at the time ) , and back in June we told you that Google will bring the service to the iPhone. Today, Google finally integrated Goggles into their Google Mobile app…

Google To Bring The Google Goggles App To The iPhone

Google project manager Shailesh Nalawadi confirmed that the company’s mobile visual search tool would be making its way to the iPhone “soon.”

Back in December, we told you about Google’s Goggles, a visual search apps for Android devices. According to RWW , in a presentation Thursday at the Augmented Reality Event in Santa Clara, California, Google project manager Shailesh Nalawadi confirmed that the company’s mobile visual search tool would be making its way to the iPhone “soon.” He also announced that a logical next step for the app in the near future would be to release public APIs for leveraging Google’s technology.
