Foxconn Producing 150,000 iPhone 5s a Day

A report from Taiwan’s Digitimes says that Foxconn is churning out the unannounced iPhone 5 hardware at an alarming rate — over 150,000 units a day.

A report from Taiwan’s Digitimes says that Foxconn is churning out the unannounced iPhone 5 hardware at an alarming rate — over 150,000 units a day. That’s crazy, and it means Foxconn is racing to get shipments up to 5-6 million units total by later on this month. All of Apple’s contractors are working around the clock as well, funneling components into Foxconn to create the new iPhones.

Woz also says that the white iPhone 4 is going to be available sometime in the future… probably by the time it will be (finally) released, the iPhone 5 will be here.

Rumor: Foxconn Design Drawings Of The Next Generation iPhone

today Apple.pro has posted design drawings ( obtained from Foxconn ) of what may be the next gen iPhone.

A few days ago, GlobalDirectParts published a video of what is suppose to be a first look at the next generation iPhone casing and innards. The video is no longer available on YouTube due to a copyright claim by Apple, but today Apple.pro has posted design drawings ( obtained from Foxconn ) of what may be the next gen iPhone.

24 Million iPhone 4G Units To Be Shipped In 2010 By Foxconn

Foxconn will ship 4.5 million units in the first half and 19.5 million units for the rest of 2010. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 4G on June 7, 2010 during Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference.

WWDC10 is just around the corner and we expect a new iPhone. Rumor has it that starting June, Foxconn will ship 24 million iPhone 4G units with an improved display, more memory, and a larger battery. Digitimes reports:

iPhone To Get 720p Video Playback And Recording?

The MediaValidator preferences list file for the now allows videos as wide as 1280 pixels and a total 921,000 pixel count, or enough to match the 1280×720 resolution of 720p.

Since the new iPhone 3.2 SDK is out everybody is hunting for hints on what the next generation iDevices will bring us. So far we got the code name of the next gen iPhone , possible new syncing support with iPhone OS 3.2 ( not in the SDK ) , and now it seems that the next gen iPhone might also get 720p video playback and probably recording.
