Trailer: Infinity Blade 2 [video]

During today’s keynote, Apple announced the new iPhone4S which features a dual-core A5 CPU and a new dual-core GPU ( supposedly boosts graphics performance by up to 7x ). To show what that means, Phil Schiller invited on stage, Mike Capps ( president of Epic Games ), to demo Infinity Blade 2.

During today’s keynote, Apple announced the new iPhone4S which features a dual-core A5 CPU and a new dual-core GPU ( supposedly boosts graphics performance by up to 7x ). To show what that means, Phil Schiller invited on stage, Mike Capps ( president of Epic Games ), to demo Infinity Blade 2. We don’t have too much info about the game, other than it will be available in December and it brings ‘… some graphic technics that aren’t even seen on high-end gaming consoles’ . All we can say is bye-bye battery life.

Epic Games brings definitive action-RPG gameplay to the Apple mobile platform!

Epic Games brings definitive action-RPG gameplay to the Apple mobile platform! We’re seeing a few elements at work here, which we’ll try to take one at a time. First of all, the focus on sword fighting is pretty evident. In the video, you can see a finger slicing across the screen. Based on the speed of the swordplay in the trailer, it looks like the motion will be nearly be one-to-one, which is the sort of accuracy you need for a legit sword fighting title.
