A new video from yesterday’s Eddy Cue/Jimmy Iovine interview at the Re/code Code Conference was released. In the video Apple’s SVP of Internet Services Eddy Cue says that, later this year they’ve got the best product pipeline in 25 years. In the last 25 years, Apple has released the iMac, iPod, iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. So for Cue to make such a strong statement, it can only mean that we’re in for a treat. Apple To Hold Media Event This Month. To Be Focused On Publishing And iBooks

TC is reporting that Apple will be holding a product event later this month in New York, which will focus on publishing and eBooks (sold through Apple’s iBooks platform) rather than iAds. Attendance will also be more publishing industry-oriented than consumer-focused. The event will unveil improvements to the iBooks platform, and is not “major.” Stay tuned for more details
