Two iPod Touch Prototypes With Camera Show Up On Ebay But They Get Removed

Just when we thought that the Gizmodo iPhone story starts to fade out, we get a new story, but this time the story involves two iPod Touch prototypes with camera, marked “DVT-1′ and ‘DVT-2’, ‘Apple Development Team’

Just when we thought that the Gizmodo iPhone story starts to fade out, we get a new story, but this time the story involves two iPod Touch prototypes with camera, marked “DVT-1′ and  ‘DVT-2’, ‘Apple Development Team’. As you can see they are running ( probably ) a development version of iPhone OS for the iTouch, displaying some sort of “SwitchBoard” window. Either way, they got pulled off.

April 16-18: First iPad Dev Camp

his is not a training event. iPadDevCamp is for existing Cocoa developers and designers to build and demo new iPad apps over the three-day event.

This is not a training event. iPadDevCamp is for existing Cocoa developers and designers to build and demo new iPad apps over the three-day event. iPadDevCamp will be held from April 16-18 at the eBay offices in San Jose, CA. The weekend workshop costs $50, but the cost may be offset by sponsors.

Appsidy: New Payment Method In Cydia Store aka Reinventing The Wheel

all commercial apps can be easily spotted in Cydia, and you buy them directly through paypal or amazon payments. Ok, nothing new so far , but in the last couple of days we are keep on seeing this Appsidy thingy . Well what is Appsidy?

If you are an iPhone or iTouch users, chances are, your iDevice is jailbroken. If that’s the case, you sure do know what is Cydia, and know all about the Cydia Store. Before , we had a Cydia store, you could download an app, and pay the dev directly via Paypal. Now, all commercial apps can be easily spotted in Cydia, and you buy them directly through paypal or amazon payments. Ok, nothing new so far ( at least not for some/many of you ) , but in the last couple of days we are keep on seeing this Appsidy thingy . Well what is Appsidy?

Rumor: Apple To Implement a New System of Online Payments, In Direct Competition with PayPal?

Silicon Alley Insider has posted a rumor, not confirmed yet, received from Wall Street. Course covers Apple and the ability to compete with eBay, or better with its online payment system known as “PayPal”. The system would allow Apple users to make payments on third party sites, using the iTunes Store.

Apple currently holds 30% derived from the AppStore and sales through the In-App Purchase. Implementing a proprietary system for payments, this figure would necessarily be reduced, in order to maintain competition with others. Analysts have not yet found a good reason to push society in that direction.

Apple will probably start to see a good future for these online payment systems, or could be the first step toward a system for making purchases from your iPhone.

If you don’t already have an eighth-inch-to-RCA cable, you can pick one up on eBay for five or six bucks shipped. Search for “camcorder A/V cable.” Remember, you want a three-plug yellow/red/white RCA connection at one end and a three-banded eighth-inch (3.5mm) A/V plug at the other.
