Pair With Pear: Enable BlueTooth On Your Docking Station

Pear is a simple device that replaces your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad on the docking station.

By now we all know about the advantages of Apple’s AirPlay which was introduced in iOS 4. What isn’t often discussed are the few disadvantages AirPlay has when it’s pitched against the likes of BlueTooth when utilised for music.

For me, there are 2 snags to AirPlay: 1 – Wifi connection is a must, 2 – I don’t have an AppleTV in every room. Enter, Pear.
