So , let’s say you already installed the new repo, and also installed BossPaper. When you get back to your SpringBoard you will notice two new icons: one for BossPaper and one for logmailer

There is a reason why you couldnt find the app in Cydia. The app is available in bigboss’s beta repo, and you dont have it. Why? Because chances are that when you first load Cydia you chose the “User” Profile and the beta repo is only available for “Hacker” or “Developer” profiles.
If you already saw my previous article, BossPaper v0.91 Beta Released in Cydia For Testers , i bet you were loading Cydia while reading and searched for BossPaper. Changes are that (maybe) 98% of you didnt find the app in Cydia.

A couple of weeks ago, FSMdotCOM informed you about BossPaper: Upcoming iPhone/iTouch Wallpapers App . Since than i got a couple of emails and comments from people that just couldnt wait to get their hands on this app and to be honest, i cant blame them.Well today is your lucky day because BigBoss released the beta version of the app in Cydia for you to test it.

Well today is your lucky day because BigBoss released the beta version of the app in Cydia for you to test it. BossPaper will automatically install logmailer because if you have any problems, I would like a logmailer output of your syslog. If you don’t plan to send syslogs to me when having problems, well then you should not try to beta test this. Of course the first non-beta repo version will not require logmailer. If you hate having logmailer icon, you can hide it for now using SBSettings.

I have been working on a new FREE app called “BossPaper”. This is a very configurable advanced wallpaper app that lets you control what wallpaper shows up on your SpringBoard. You may be saying, “But Winterboard does that!” Sort of, but not like this. BossPaper can work with Winterboard (or without). Read on for details.
BossPaper is an upcoming iPhone/iTouch wallpaper app announced by BigBoss. It is a very configurable app, and it can work with OR without WinterBoard.
Last year, Saurik released Winterboard. This enabled some new features none of us have ever seen before such as rotating desktop wallpapers via Javascript HTML pages. While this was revolutionary for us iPhone owners, it also came at a cost. Performance running these themes sucks.
There are a few ways the Javascript based images can be implemented and all of them have problems. If you load them all into memory, Springboard uses a signficant amount of memory.
