Lost ‘Doctor Who’ Episodes Have Been Recovered, Now Available Exclusively on iTunes [video]

BBC today announced the release of two sets of lost episodes from the hit show Doctor Who, which it is currently exclusively selling on iTunes.

BBC today announced the release of two sets of lost episodes from the hit show Doctor Who, which it is currently exclusively selling on iTunes. A first set, titled The Enemy of the World ( 6 new episodes + trailer ) and a second set titled The Web of Fear ( 6 episodes ) have been digitally remastered after they were found in Nigeria, Africa earlier this year, and will remain on the iTunes Store until a DVD release later this year.

After his death from cancer in October, the BBC Two started crafting a nearly one-hour documentary examining how Jobs propelled the company from his parents’ garage to global supremacy. While key figures in both Jobs’ personal and professional life didn’t participate, the BBC did get cooperation from folks who knew him as a Merry Prankster-like individual circa the Ken Kesey era. One of those who were happy to talk was Steve Wozniak, the computer wizard who founded Apple with Jobs in 1976, and left full-time employment there in the mid 1980s. In speaking about their connection, Wozniak commented, “Steve and I, we were like a Lennon-McCartney partnership.”

iPhone4S [hands-on video]

BBC was able to get up close and personal with the new iPhone 4S. check out the video…

We were expecting at least 2 or 3 decent iPhone 4S hands-on videos, but according to Engadget ‘…Apple isn’t allowing anyone to take photos or videos of the new iPhone in the hands-on area at its event’. Well, apparently BBC was able to get up close and personal with the new iPhone 4S and you can check the video after the break.

BBC Digital Chief Erik Huggers announces the upcoming release of the first BBC iPhone Apps for BBC News & BBC Sport at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Wednesday.

The apps – to be released in April – will be developed by Mobile Service Provider Mobile IQ (an Entropy Digital client) and will include a number of advanced iPhone features.
