FlashbackChecker: Easy Way To Check If Your Mac Is Infected With Flashback Trojan

A new application has been released which makes checking a Mac for the Flashback malware infection as simple as clicking a button.

You probably know by now that over 600,000 Macs are now infected with the BackDoor.Flashback.39 trojan. Chances of 99.9% of you being infected are slim to none, but it never hurts to check. You can use the terminal ( f-secure has a great tutorial ) or, you can use a nifty little app called FlashbackChecker. All you need to do is download FlashbackChecker from Github , unzip it, run it and click the big button that says ‘Check for Flashback Infection’.
