Drone Station is a Mac OS X compatible application for remote control of the Parrot AR.Drone quadricopter over a Wi-Fi connection. Drone Station allows customers to use a variety of commonly available joysticks, gamepads, and controllers to control their drone.
This four-rotor quadricopter employs dual ultrasonic altimeters, a three-axis accelerometer, multiple gyroscopes, and an embedded Linux platform to continuously stabilize itself during flight.

The AR.Drone is a project that belongs to the French company Parrot, and takes augmented reality to the next level thanks to a four-bladed mini-helicopter of sorts, which is controlled via an iPhone/iPod Touch app (i.e. tilt the phone and the drone will tilt).
