Apple Brings Maps 3D Flyover In Paris

3D Flyover support for Paris is now available in Apple Maps.

Just a quick heads-up for our French readers: 3D Flyover support for Paris is now available in Apple Maps. Until last week, Lyon was the only city in France that had support for Flyover but today Parisians, tourists and visitors can enjoy the gorgeous 3d rendering of the city that Apple is offering in the stock iOS maps app.

Already missing Google Maps on iOS 6? But don’t despair: There’s a workaround you can use to have your cake and eat it, too.

As you’ve probably heard, one of the biggest changes to the new version of iOS that came out today is the replacement of Google Maps with Apple’s own new mapping software. Apple Maps has a lot going for it— it’s more beautifully designed and faster performing than Google Maps was and offers turn-by-turn directions, which Google Maps never did on iOS.
