Apple Drops iTunes 9.2.1 . Jailbreakers Should Not Update Right Now

Apple just dropped iTunes 9.2.1 on the official website. This version should be jailbreke-safe, but you should not update yet, until the community confirms it 100%.

Apple just dropped iTunes 9.2.1 on the official website. This version should be jailbreak-safe, but you should not update yet, until the community confirms it 100%.

New in iTunes 9.2.1:

  • disables older version of some incompatible third-party plug-ins
  • addresses minor issues with dragging and dropping items
  • addresses a performance issue when first syncing to some devices with iTunes 9.2
  • addresses an issue upgrading to iOS 4 on an iPhone or iPod Touch with encrypted back-ups
  • addresses other isses that improve stability and performance

iPhone OS 3.0 Coming in 6 Days, iTunes 8.2 Rleased NOW!

Apple just released the new iTunes 8.2 before iPhone OS 3.0 and this is an official sign that we will get the new software this month.

Did you check your software updates lately? If you didnt, than you probably want to know that Apple just released iTunes 8.2.According to Apple’s release notes, iTunes 8.2 supports “iPhone or iPod touch with the iPhone 3.0 Software Update,” and also includes “many accessibility improvements and bug fixes.” In April, Apple began providing registered iPhone developers with a pre-release version of iTunes 8.2, which was required to activate the later beta versions of iPhone OS 3.0. iTunes 8.2 is available now through Apple’s Software Update utility or as a free download from apple.com/itunes.

Right now we can say we’re 99.9% positive that will get the new iPhone OS at this year’s WWDC which is scheduled for 8-12 June and will be held at Moscone West, San Francisco.
