Alien Dalvik 2.0 Lets You Run Android Apps on iPad

First, you could dual-boot iOS and Android OS on your iPhones thanks to people like PlanetBeing, Sergio McFly ( iPhodroid ) and all the guys behind the iDroid Project. Now, thanks to developers @ Myriad, Android apps can run on Apple’s iPad via Alien Dalvik v2.0 which they announced as part of the company’s push for Android software on tablets, TVs, in-care infotainment and more.

Android OS 2.3 Gingerbread Released As A Preview Build For iOS Devices

A few weeks ago we told you that the iDroid Project devs have successfully ported Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the iPhone 3G, and today we get a preview build which is available for iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G & iPod Touch 1G and is ONLY as a binary package

iPhoDroid R14 To Be Released This Month. Added ‘Full Reset’ Feature For The iPhone

Sergio McFly is back and he is about to release iPhoDroid r14, which comes with a ‘Full Reset’ feature that will completely erase your iPhone. Using this feature your device will be formatted and you will loose all your data and residue data, which is probably a good idea.

The iDroid Project devs successfully ported Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the iPhone 3G.

The iDroid Project devs successfully ported Android 2.3 Gingerbread to the iPhone 3G, and they announced their success by posting the vid you see above. We’ve seen great progress since last summer when PlanetBeing proudly announced that he managed to port Android OS to the iPhone 2G and 3G. We are still waiting to see if somebody can port ( or if it is possible ) Android OS on A4-chip iOS devices.

Android OS Dual-Boot Coming To The iPhone 4 And iPad [video]

The devs are now working on porting OpeniBoot to the iPhone 4 and iPad and most probably in the next couple of weeks we will be able to install Android OS on A4 chip devices as well.

A few days ago, we showed you how to use Bootlance to install Android OS directly on your iPhone 2G/3G. The devs are now working on porting OpeniBoot to the iPhone 4 and iPad and most probably in the next couple of weeks we will be able to install Android OS on A4 chip devices as well. We have no idea if the iPhone 3Gs or any iPod Touches ( including the 4G ) will be supported.
