Sanwa has released an updated version of January’s PRJ011 iPhone charging case/pico-projector. The new PRJ016 boasts a 1,850mAh battery that can recharge your handset up to 80 percent and can also power the projection mode if you want to display a home movie, slideshow, or just some big-screen tv blown onto your wall.
The 35 lumens DLP device has three times the brightness of the previous model and has a maximum display size of 60-inches, focusing from a distance of up to six feet and can project for up to 2 hours.
Aesthetically it’s not a terrible thing to behold and there is quite a substantial bulk added to the rear of your iPhone 4/4S – but what do you expect from a charger case & projector?
It’s available in Japan directly through Sanwa and will set you back ¥23,800 ($300, £190, €243).
