‘iOS 7 LockScreen Weather’ To Be Updated To v1.3 Later This Week. Here’s What To Expect…

A Pint of Milk has  been hard at work since the launch of ‘iOS 7 LockScreen Weather’ and they are ready to release their latest update, version 1.3 which will be available as a free upgrade on Cydia later this week.

iOS 7 LockScreen Weahter v1.3 was re-written from the ground up and optimised for iPhone 5, 5s and 5c devices.

No more config.js file. This version includes a settings screen within the default iOS settings.app allowing you make changes to the LockScreen instantly. You can change from Celsius to Fahrenheit, hide the four day forecast, change the position of the weather display, hide the loading message and manage your WOEID.

Version 1.3 also brings the ability to select the date or day to be displayed on the four day forecast.

In terms of design, v1.3 removed the weather icon images and now utilise a font icon, this enables the weather to load quicker. In terms of code. The updated will also bring a rewritten the core weather code, again this provides quicker load times.
