HOW TO: Fix The January 1, 1970 Bricked iPhone Glitch [video]

I’m sure you’re aware of this glitch. If you set your iPhone to January 1, 1970 you will brick your iPhone. It apparently affects all 64-bit iOS 8 and iOS 9 phones, as well as tablets using Apple’s A7, A8, A8X, A9, and A9X processor. Apple acknowledges this bug and apparently they will fix it in a future update. But there’s also a quick and easy fix you can do it right now if you for some reason bricked your phone or you have a friend that bricked his/her phone or tablet. Just disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. That’s it. PS: if you have a brand new iPhone, it’s probably better to take it to the Apple Store. If that’s not an option, then you can fix it yourself.
