HOW TO: Fix The January 1, 1970 Bricked iPhone Glitch [video]

easy fix for the January 1, 1970 bricked iPhone glitch

I’m sure you’re aware of this glitch. If you set your iPhone to January 1, 1970 you will brick your iPhone. It apparently affects all 64-bit iOS 8 and iOS 9 phones, as well as tablets using Apple’s A7, A8, A8X, A9, and A9X processor. Apple acknowledges this bug and apparently they will fix it in a future update. But there’s also a quick and easy fix you can do it right now if you for some reason bricked your phone or you have a friend that bricked his/her phone or tablet. Just disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. That’s it. If you’re not sure how to do that, jump over the break to check out a video of the process ( it’s probably better if you shut down the phone first )…

PS: if you have a brand new iPhone, it’s probably better to take it to the Apple Store. If that’s not an option, then you can fix it yourself.
