apparently Reminders is smart enough to let you create reminders using natural language input.

Apparently today is hidden feature’s day. First there was a secret Google Maps gesture, and now we got one for the Reminders app in Mac OS. If you didn’t already figure it out by looking at the screenshots, apparently Reminders is smart enough to let you create reminders using natural language input.

Much like Fantastical, all you have to do is to type in your reminder with a pre-defined date and that’s it. You can use phrase such as :

  • @ 4
  • @ 4 PM
  • August 2 @ 4
  • August 2 @ 4 PM
  • Wednesday at 4

Here’s an example:

  • Remind me to do stuff @ 4
  • Remind me to do stuff wednesday at 4
