A few hours ago, Google presented Buzz, a new integrated service directly within Gmail. Google Buzz allows us to share updates, photos and video , and hold conversations about topics that interest us with people we want.
There is no configuration required and you will automatically follow the people you email or chat the most. You can share everything with the world or just a small group of friends according to your needs. You can also import your content from Twitter, Flickr, Picasa and Google Reader.
The service is already optimized for the iPhone and iTouch, and you can access it by browsing to www.google.com/buzz.

You can also add Google Buzz to your Springboard for fast access, by tapping on the plus sign .
The optimized version for iDevices is really good, but as you can tell, this service is not much different from Google Wave or even Twitter. Since Wave didn’t have much traction and Twitter is huge, i wonder if Buzz will have any success.
