There are quite a few ways to enable HDR photos on iPhone 3G/3Gs ( here, here, here ) but none for the new iPod Touch. That’s mainly because there was no jailbreak for it, until today.
What you need:
- iPod Touch 4, running iOS 4.1 and jailbroken
- N81AP.plist and AVCapture.plist
How to:
1. Jailbrek your iPod Touch 4G ( see tutorial )
2. Download the two .plist file
3. SSH into your iPod and browse to :
- System>Library>CoreServices>SpringBoard.app> and copy N81AP.plist overwriting the existing one. I suggest you back up the original one first.
- System>Library>PrivateFrameworks>Celestial.framework>N81> and copy AVCapture.plist overwriting the existing one. I suggest you back up the original one first
4. Reboot your iPod Touch
5. Enjoy
