Apple’s iBook Store To Get The FairPlay Copy Protection

The majority of publishers are expected to embrace FairPlay, along with other copy protection software such as Adobe’s Content Server 4, but it expected that some publishers including O’Reilly Media to opt against FairPlay.

Next month, Apple will launch its iBook store to sell titles for the new iPad, and many of the books are expected to come with a set of digital locks in order to prevent piracy according to LATimes.
