SnapTap: Use Volume Buttons To Take Photos.

CYDIA

Taking photos on your iPhone is about as easy as it gets. Open the app point and tap. Done. But what about those low light shots? Hold your phone real tight and try to just tap hard enough to take the pic, but not hard enough to shake the phone. Or how about a self portrait for your little social network site. Point it backwards and fiddle for the button to tap?  Not anymore.

With SnapTap (a new paid hack from the Bigboss repo) you can now use the volume buttons on the side of your phone to take the pic. Just install the hack and you’re ready to go. There’s no icon for this, it’s just a preference hack. It works with the stock camera app, but also  worked just as well with my other two camera apps from the app store Vint Shift and Camera Plus. So probably will work with other 3rd party camera apps too.
