Apple released today iTunes 12.5.1, introducing a new Apple Music design. The updates is available for both OS X El Capitan users and macOS Sierra users but includes Sierra-specific features, including support for Siri and support for Picture-in-Picture. You can download iTunes 12.5.1 right now from the Mac App Store.

Now with an all-new Apple Music design which brings greater clarity and simplicity to every aspect of the experience.

This update includes support for iOS 10. It also adds enhancements designed for macOS Sierra including:

– Siri. Play music from your Library and Apple Music using your voice. Just ask Siri.
– Picture-in-Picture. Watch videos as you multitask and use different apps. Your video floats above your desktop in any corner of the screen.

Alongside iOS 9.3.2, Apple also released today OS X 10.11.5 to the public which can be downloaded for free through the Software Update mechanism. The update is available to all OS X El Capitan users.

The update is recommended for all OS X El Capitan users and, just like iOS, brings under-the-hood improvements, bug fixes and security enhancements. Check out the official changelog below…

The OS X El Capitan v10.11.5 Update improves the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users.

This update includes the following enterprise changes:

  • Fixes an issue where applying a configuration profile to set allowSpotlightInternetResults to False would cause Spotlight to use large amounts of CPU time.

  • Fixes an issue where applying a configuration profile to set ShutDownDisabledWhileLoggedIn to Truewould have no effect.

  • Fixes an issue where only a single NetBoot image would appear in the Startup Disk pane of System Preferences, even if multiple NetBoot images were configured on the server.
