Apple has released today iOS 8.4, which includes a revamped Music.app and Apple’s on-demand music streaming service, Apple Music.
iOS 8.4 is available right now as an OTA ( over-the-air ) download. Apple Music is located within the Music app and it’s available right away. However, Beats 1 radio service will kick off at 9 AM Pacific Time.
iOS 8.4 also includes the relocation of audiobooks from the Music app to the iBooks app, consolidating all books, print, and audio into one convenient spot, and a new Audiobooks for CarPlay app, giving drivers a standalone app dedicated to playing their audiobooks.
Yesterday Apple unveiled Apple Music. To be honest the most appealing thing about it, at least to me, is the worldwide radio. But I really doubt it will be so good that it will make me fork 10 bucks each month. Either way, the good news is that Apple offers a 3-month free trial which might convince people to stop using other services like Spotify. Because… you know… your inner hipster can’t wait for that unknown artist to drop, for free, the next “Dark Side of the Moon” exclusively on Apple Music.
Apple Music will be available on June 30, in over 100 countries ( if it’s anything like iTunes Radio, and you live in Narnia, just use a VPN to get connected and that’s it, enjoy your 3-month free trial ) with the release of iOS 8.4 and a new version of iTunes.

AirPlay is probably the coolest and most useful thing on my iPhone. I use it constantly. Why? Because, lets face it… Movies, videos, music, games, and pictures look MUCH better on a 60″ TV then they do on that 3.5″/4″ screen in your poket. One tiny issue though, not all of us have the extra HDMI port, or the money to throw down for an AppleTV. Does that mean these people are just out of luck? Well… No. At least not entirely.
A recent edition to the AppStore seeks to help you poor AppleTV deprived people. Of coarse I speak of Music Flow.
US band Francis and the Lights have released what they believe to be the first album in HTML5, perfect for any Apple device.
