I am tired of reading on and on about this “battle” between Windows and Mac OS !!! I really am!
BUT…
Sombody sent me a link to an article written by Preston Gralla (click on the name for his bio) , where he gives 5 reasons why Windows Vista is better than Mac OS!
Now, i realize that i don’t have Mr. Gralla’s experience or knowledge, but i like to belive i have a brain and i use it!

Here is the five reasons why Vista is a better OS than Mac OS :

Reason #1: Vista runs more software
“Mac OS X is a very pretty operating system, but beauty runs only skin deep. An operating system by itself is a poor thing — it’s the applications that run on top of it that matter. And here’s where Mac OS X falls short. It can’t run much common software, including enterprise applications and games.
Virtualization software like Parallels Desktop for Mac won’t solve the problem. Parallels can’t run even the most basic Vista games such as FreeCell, Hearts, Pinball, Solitaire and Minesweeper, because it doesn’t support DirectX 9. And virtualization software creates big problems for enterprises with regard to volume licensing, technical support, creating standard enterprisewide images and so on. So it’s no good for running enterprise applications either. Vista beats OS X here, hands down.”

SAY WHAT?!?!?!?! From the first reason i can see that his 20 years of experience and all those books didn’t helped at all!Vista runs more software : OH MY GOD!!! So…basically you say here Vista is better than Mac OS becouse Vista is compatible with more softwere that you will never going to run?That makes a good OS…if it’s compatible with tons of software its the best!And when you come to think about it…all this years i thought that a good OS is the one who can run software and does it in a stable environment….damnn how wrong was I? /:| thank you for your wisdom shareing Mr. Gralla!!!
(and btw , i dont know who paid you to write all this bull shit, but if Vista runs all those tons of wicked software…just try to install them Mr. Gralla )

Reason #2: Vista is safer
“As I’ve written before, Vista is a more secure operating system than Mac OS X. Mac OS X was easier to crack in a recent hacking contest. And security researcher Dino Dai Zovi had this to say about Vista versus Mac OS X when it comes to security:

I have found the code quality, at least in terms of security, to be much better overall in Vista than Mac OS X 10.4. It is obvious from observing affected components in security patches that Microsoft’s Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) has resulted in fewer vulnerabilities in newly-written code.“

You should know better that there is no such thing as the perfect OS!Every OS got security flaws and issues!
I really don’t know how can you possibly could have said this : Vista is safer!!!!
If you said maybe that Vista got more security software available for it….well that would be true and it wouldnt be a problem!But to say that Vista is safer than OSX hmm….Maybe in your head , the original reason was Vista is safer than XP….really i cant explain why could u posibly say that

Reason #3: It’s the money, stupid
“If you’re got a lot of extra spare cash laying around that you don’t care about, then by all means, buy a Mac. But if, like most of the world, you’ve got to work for a living, then you’ll find that a Vista machine is far less expensive than a Mac.”

Yet another bull shit reason!!!You claim that Mac’s cost more than PC’s! FOR ALL OF YOU OUT THERE WHO THINK THIS IS A REAL REASON : NOBODY MAKES YOU BUY A MAC!
You should ask a gamer, what kind of pc they have!AND I GUARANTEE YOU THAT IS MORE EXPANSIVE THAN A MAC!!! I know all my gamer friends has spend huge money on their PC and they still spend!!!!

Reason #4: The Mac is closed; Vista is open
“Any person or company who wants to build a PC with Vista on it, and either sell it, or use it themselves, is perfectly free to do so, as long as they buy the operating system. Try to do that with a Mac, and you’ll be spending some face time with Apple’s attack dog lawyers.”

What?I don’t even understand this one…i mean do you talk about the OS or the computer architecture?If you still talk about the OS i think u should have said Mac is closed ; Linux is open!If you are talking about the computer architecture, dude….your not sticking to the subject!!!

Reason #5: Two words — Steve Jobs
“There’s no doubt that Steve Jobs is a master marketer. And he also knows good design. But he’s also vindictive, sends his lawyers after people who report leaked information about Apple products, and has hypnotized Apple users into drinking the true-believer Kool Aid. Don’t reward him by making him richer.”

I can give you this one but only half of it.I agree on some levels with what you said here,but dude c’mon everybody knows that Apple makes sweet products and really a good product sells itself!I dont belive that someone buy an Apple product just becouse Steve Jobs tell them so or using your words, he “hypnotize” somebody!
