Ever since the iPhone was released back in 2007, people have mainly complained about two things: battery life is not as good as it can be and there’s no easy way to add extra memory to the phone. Eight years later people have finally come up with commercially available modular cases that aim to fix these issues and even add more features to the smartphone. First we showed you the Moscase modular case, and now we’re going to introduce you to the Nexpaq case.
So what’s a Nexpaq? First of all it’s a protective case for your smartphone. But not just any case, one that allows you to mix-and-match a variety of modules that add extra functionality to your smartphone by adding additional batteries, an amplified speaker, temperature and humidity sensors, flash storage and even a breathalyzer ( what’s this obsession people have with smartphone breathalyzers? )
The case is available in white and black for the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S5. For more info on the Nexpaq modular case, check out the video below and the official project page on Kickstarter.
