Im guessing you all know the story of BeautyMeter. In fact im not guessing, i know that you are familiar with this app, because you sent me tons of emails asking me for this app.
But im giving you the benefit of the doubt, and ill get you through a short description and history of the app. BeautyMeter made it to the appstore as a Social Networking app. Something like Hot or Not. Everything was fine, until photos of 15ish years old nude girls were found in the app.
The app made history , being the first app accepted in the iTunes appstore who brought such material to the iPhone/iTouch users. Of course Apple, took the app off the appstore,and even released a statement via spokesman Tom Neumayer saying … “Apple will not distribute applications that contain inappropriate content, such as pornography.” So life goes on … the App Store went back to being non-nude and porno-free.
Here is the first problem. THE APP WAS NOT SERVING PORN. Why not? Because nudity is erotica and not porn. Porn is the actual sexual contact. When you see a penetration , thats fucking porn. When you see a pair of boobs, thats fucking erotica. Wake the fuck up Apple.
The problem should be the distribution of underage erotica materials which last time i checked its pretty much illegal.Anyway, the app was pulled out of the appstore, and that’s that. Made a huge impact on thea appstore history and pretty soon will be forgotten.
Second problem with the app. I found the .ipa version of the app and installed it on my iPhone. I spent like 10 minutes with the app, and pretty much all the pictures are either mug shots, or babies or old ladies ( not even MILFs ).

So , this is the porn you will find in this app. Is this porn or erotica or w/e? Sorry guys/girls/old farts , but when was the last time you’ve been clubbin? This is how they look/dress. Shes 14 , she looks like that, and you end up pulling an R Kelly on them. Maybe w/o the golden shower, thats nasty.

Hello Murda, Was just passing through your blog (daily routine) and noticed this post. I have couple of suggestion for you.
1 Use Words Nudity, Porn Erotica etc. very less in the post or enabling Adsense Ads.
2 Never links to warez and pirated apps or software it may abandon your site from Adsense. Actually i have gone through it due to a single post on my blog which redirect my readers to download links of Mac OS X. Google bans my site from Adsense but i somehow managed to re-enable my account within a week. But i loosed a good amount of money. This is the rare case if Adsense team re-enables an account within a week.
So play safe after all it's your site and you have a long way to go ahead. Delete this comment after reading. Your well wisher.

Since all the publicity all the nude pics have been deleted from thier database.
I agree about young kids not been able to see/post etc but as you said there were NO hardcore porn on the app at all, just regular people showing a bit of skin.
As for the 15 year old, she could have been older, but when she selected her age she MIGHT have rotated the numbers too far, but who will ever know unfortunately.
Its a shame as it WAS a good app for a bit of fun, and have got to know a few people off there and theyre really nice people.
I can see people deleting the app by the droves now the fun side of it has gone as now its just like the countless other apps out there.

Ha I tried this app out. You're right, just like Hot or Not from back in the day, but there are some seriously hot women on there.

yeah how do you get it to install properly onto an iphone? i downloaded it and moved it into itunes app folder and it didnt show up in itunes so i clicked on it, it then showed up in itunes but wouldnt install onto my iphone

well dont download it with safari. if you didnt know already, safari auto-decompress compressed files. .ipa is a compression. think of it like a .zip file. download it with safari and than read this:

i added the app to itunes and when i synced it it said unknown error has occurred application not added to iphone…. what happened?
