Apple released today the first major update to iOS 11. The release notes mention that the update introduces over 70 new emojis and includes bug fixes and improvements.
iOS 11.1 is available now for all eligible devices. To access the update, go to Settings –> General –> Software Update.

Today, Tuesday September 19, Apple has officially released iOS 11 to the public. First revealed at Apples WWDC back in June, the new iOS includes quite a few new features and updates like a completely overhauled App Store, a new version of Siri, looping Live Photos, and a new “Do Not Disturb While Driving” feature.

At WWDC 2017, Apple unveiled iOS 11 which sets a new standard for what is already the world’s most advanced mobile operating system. It makes iPhone better than before. It makes iPad more capable than ever. And now it opens up both to amazing possibilities for augmented reality in games and apps.
Some of the ground features were covered by Apple in the keynote, but there are tons and tons of small, hidden features and updates that they failed to mention.

We’ll see what iOS 11 is all about in a couple of months at WWDC 2017, but for now it’s time for concept videos.
This iOS 11 concept video was put together by Jacek Zieba, and shows what group FaceTime video chats might look like or how we could easily clear app data and caches. It also shows multi-user support but I don’t think that’s something we can look forward too. At least not with iOS 11.

With iTunes 11.1 and iOS 7, Apple has killed the ability to restore custom IPSWs due to i according to iH8sn0w, the developer of Sn0wBreeze. The custom IPSW restore it’s no longer possible because iTunes 11.1 recalculates the partial-hash of every img3 instead of using the ones in BuildManifest.plist, which results in modified images having a different hash and being rejected by Apple’s TSS. In other words, alternatives will be needed to perform custom restores. We will keep you updated. Stay tuned…
